"At least she had panties on"

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday. Nothing happening that was interesting enough to blog about. We woke up, ate breakfast, went to class, ate peanut butter and banana sandwiches in the room, and just wandered around all afternoon. Drew took us to a small museum close to our hotel that was dedicated to French American history. Afterwards, Hannah Rachel and I bought some postcards, and we found out where the post office is. We went in to buy stamps, and this is what I came out with...

Royal Wedding stamps!! Where else am I going to be able to find them?? So I had to get some, even though they cost like $20 for only 10 on them. After exploring a little more, we went back to the hotel and changed for dinner. We ate at a nice little place in the lower city. My food was amazing as always.

After dinner, we decided that we wanted to go to the Festival d'Ete to listen to Yelle. Well, Andrew decided to take us on the scenic route to the concert...

We had to walk up this really steep hill, and Andrew made us look like fools by telling us to walk up it backwards. According to Hannah Rachel, I looked more like a tourist walking up backwards because I had an umbrella on the side of my backpack and she didn't. Go figure.....

We finally made it to the concert, but we really had no idea what to expect from Yelle. We were extremely surprised. Hannah Rachel and I both loved it.

She came out looking kinda "Lady Gaga"

But then changed...

And then she changed again. This time into a red, leopard print jumpsuit. And just by looking at this picture, you can tell that it was see-through. This is where my blog post title comes into play. "At least she had panties on" was the first thing my mother said when I told her about Yelle's costume.

After the concert ended, Andrew, Hannah Rachel, and I rushed back to see the light show, but not before we stopped at Paillard for fat disguised as dessert a brownie and Couche-Tard for milk. The brownie and milk (Hannah Rachel was drinking milk...I hate the stuff) made watching the show so much better.

Today, we were awakened by the sound of a cement truck, a street cleaner, and other various trucks passing by our room at 7 am. Needless to say, we did not get up at 8 am to do 10 Minute Trainer this morning. We had class this morning, and Hannah Rachel and I made peanut butter and banana sandwiches again for lunch. After lunch, our day's adventure began.

We decided that we wanted to try and find Harry Potter tickets for tomorrow night at midnight. We wanted to make everyone jealous since we get to see it an hour before anyone else back home. Well, we bought our bus day passes, and took the bus out to the mall so we could by some groceries (Chef Boyardee, Easy Mac, and popcorn). After buying the necessities, we hopped on the bus again, but we had no idea which stop we needed to get off on. We weren't lost like the other day, but we were being extremely cautious. We only knew the name of the theater, and it seemed like no one knew what we were talking about when we asked about a movie theater. We finally stopped at a Couche-Tard and asked the girl working there where we needed to go. The girl with pink hair told us to get on a certain bus at a certain time and that should get us to the right place. Well, even she was wrong. 3 hours later, we finally made it to the Cineplex Odeon, and we bought our $13 Harry Potter tickets in English for 12:02 tomorrow night.

We then walked out to the bus stop to catch the bus back into the old city. We found out then, that the bus we needed only came every hour. Hannah Rachel had a nice long conversation with the very smelly, French man next to us while we were waiting. Andrew and Martin meet us when we got back into the city at the only Mexican restaurant in Quebec City.

The quesadillas and margarita we got were definitely worth the arm and leg we paid them for it. Tonight, since today was such a long day, we are just doing homework, blogging, and hopefully going to bed pretty soon. Night!!
